Despite having a blog on the subject, I need to work on my own self-care. I’m hoping to spend this summer making decisions that are right for my and my mental health. I’m going to working part-time while also having a paid internship doing research and working with the political science department at temple. It’s going to be tough battling my anxiety about money and the need to not overwork myself. I want to give myself days to relax in between. I started bullet journaling again in a new notebook. This one is bigger, and it helps me feel like I’m getting a fresh start. I’m getting back into learning Spanish, and I am determined to finish both I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings and Picture of Dorian Grey by the end of the summer. I sincerely apologize for my gaps in posting. Sometimes posting on here, Facebook, twitter, and Instagram can be overwhelming. Even bloggers need a social media break. I’m also getting into mix.com, which is the replacement for StumbleUpon. My goal is to reach 1,000 Instagram followers and 30 blog followers by the end of summer. I’d love to hear some of your goals for the summer! Remember to always put yourself first!
